Qurbānī Ke Masāil (5)

Kuch log sāre ghar wālo ki taraf se sirf ek bakrā qurbān karte he jabke ghar ke kayī log šāhib e nišāb hote he aur sab par qurbānī karnā wājib hotā he, to aise me sab par alag alag qurbānī wājib he; to ek bakra jo sabkī taraf se kiyā gayā to kisī kā bhī wājib adā na huwā.

- Nābāligh kī taraf se qurbānī wājib nahī.

- Bāligh aulād yā biwī kī taraf se qurbānī karnā chāhe to ijāzat lekar kare, agar ijāzat ke baghair kardī to unkī taraf se wājib adā na hogā.

- Ijāzat do tarah ki hotī he: ek sarāhatan, jeyse ke un me se koī šāf taur par kehde ke merī taraf se qurbānī kardo; dūsrī dalālatan, jeyse apnī biwī yā aulād ki taraf se qurbānī kartā he aur woh bhī jānte he aur woh rāzī he - yeh bhī ijāzat he.

Matters of Qurbānī (5)


Some people sacrifice only one animal on behalf of the entire family, even though there are many members of the family are šāhib e nišāb and qurbānī is wājib on them all; in such a case, it is wājib on them to do qurbānī separately; so that one goat that had been sacrificed on behalf of them all has not fulfilled any of the people's wājib.

- It is not wājib for one who has not reached puberty to do qurbānī.

- If one wishes to do qurbānī on behalf of their wife or child, then it must be done with their permission; if it has been done without their permission, then their wājib has not been completed.

- There are two types of permission: one is direct, for example, they have clearly stated for qurbānī to be done on their behalf; the second is evident, for example, qurbānī is being done on behalf of the wife or child and they are aware of and complicit with this - this too is permission.
