Qurbānī Ke Masāil (4)


Qurbānī ka waqt kab se kab tak hotā he:

- 10 Zil Hijjah kī šubah šādiq se lekar 12 Zil Hijjah ke ghurūb e āftāb (Maghrib kī azān) tak he.

- Sheher me qurbānī kī jāye to shart ye he ke 'Īd kī namāz ke ba'd ho, aur gāo me 'Īd kī namāz nahī hotī iss liye wahā šubha šādiq se qurbānī kī jā saktī he.

- Māl aur dūsrī sharte qurbānī kī ūpar batāye huwe waqt me pāyī gayī to qurbānī wājib hogī; ye zarūrī nahī ke daswī ko hī qurbānī kardī jāye, ūpar batāye waqt me jab chāhe kare. Agar shurū' din me wājib na thī, ya'nī ūpar batāyī gayī tamām sharte nahī thī aur ākhir dino me ūpar batāyī gayī tamām sharte pāyī gayī to uss shakhs par qurbānī wājib hogayī; aur agar shurū' din me wājib thī aur qurbānī nahī kiyā aur ākhir waqt me ūpar batāyī gayī sharte na rahī to ab qurbānī wājib na rahī.

Matters of Qurbānī (4)


The times of qurbānī are:

- from the dawn of 10th Zil Hijjah to the sunset of 12th Zil Hijjah (the azān of Maghrib)

- after the 'Īd namāz when done in the city; there is no 'Īd namāz in the villages, thus the qurbāni can be done from dawn.

- for the conditions of wealth and other things to exist at the time of qurbānī (it then becomes wājib to do qurbānī); it is not necessary that the qurbānī is done on the tenth, it can be done at any time of the aforementioned. if it was not wājib at the beginning, meaning none of the aforementioned conditions were met and then, on the last day, those conditions were met, then it is wājib on that person to do qurbānī; and, if it was wājib on the beginning day but they did not do qurbānī and, on the last day, the conditions were no longer met, then the qurbānī is no longer wājib.
