Qurbānī Ke Masāil (1)
Qurbānī wājib hone kī sharte:
1. Bālig ho
2. Muqīm ho
3. Musāfir na ho
4. Musalmān mard wa 'aurat mālik e nisāb ho.
Mālik e nišāb hone ka matlab yeh he ke uss shakhs ke pās sārhe bāwan (52.5) tole chāndī, yā itnī milkiyat kī raqm, yā itnī raqm kā māl, yā itnī raqm kā sāmān jo hājāt e ašliyah ke siwā ho aur uss par itnā qarz na ho ke adā karne ke ba'd ūpar batayā gayā nišāb bāqī na rahe.
Allāh Ta’āla Hamey Kehne Sunne Se Zyādah 'Amal Karne Kī Taufīq 'Atā Farmāye. Āmīn.

Matters of Qurbānī (1)
The conditions for Qurbānī to be wājib are:
1. to have reached the age of puberty
2. to be a resident
3. to not be a traveller
4. for a Muslim man and woman to be mālik e nisāb.
The meaning of mālik e nisāb is that person who has 612 grams of silver, or the amount in money equivalent to that, or that amount which is more than the daily essentials and they do not have so much debt that, once repaid, they have nothing left on top of the above-mentioned amount.
May Almighty Allāh grant us, more than listening and speaking, the ability to act accordingly. Āmīn.
